If you didn’t recognize this woman or know who she was, would you guess that she was 24? Would you think she was 34? I see this picture and I think “Wow, for 55, she looks pretty good.” No, I’m not “hating,” just telling you what I see.
I wonder sometimes why Lindsay Lohan captured the public interest. She was in one classic and two pretty good movies in ~2003, and a decent Disney remake in 1998. She made one pop album whose songs nobody listens to now. That’s it.
I wrote a “style icon” profile of Lohan a few months ago. Rereading it, I not only cringe at my own writing (per usual) but I wonder why I wrote it. Her life is already sad enough, without me and a zillion other people talking about her. From now on I’d rather just leave it alone.

Instead of D.A.R.E., middle/high school teachers should just show this picture to children and have them guess her age. It would be a real eye-opener.
